Abstract

The article presents the materials of scientific and production experiments on fertility, uterine fertility, preservation and resistance of offspring obtained from the use of sheep-producers of the North Caucasian, Edilbayev, texel and polle dorset breeds in the North Caucasian meat-eared sheep. According to the results of lambing, fertility in all groups of uterus of the North Caucasian breed inseminated by sheep of various genotypes was almost the same and amounted to 94,6–96,0%. The fertility of the North Caucasian ewes inseminated by sheep of the Edilbayev breed exceeded animals from other mating variants and amounted to 111,9%. The most viable were the descendants from the Edilbayev and North Caucasian producers. The safety of young animals of these groups from birth to beating from the uterus by sheep was 90 and 91,6%, and by brightness - 90,3 and 92,3%. On the bactericidal activity of blood serum, the best results were for offspring from producers of the North Caucasian and Edilbayev breeds (38,8 and 37,3%).
