Abstract

The article is devoted to the use of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) to control the quality of disinfection in animal tuberculosis. The authors analyzed the scientific literature, the results of their own research related to the diagnosis of animal tuberculosis. The diagnostic value of PCR was determined in the overall complex of health measures for animal tuberculosis. The role and significance of environmental objects as a source of infection with the causative agent of tuberculosis is studied. The authors showed that bacteriological quality control of disinfection in tuberculosis is a complex, lengthy and time-consuming process. In order to control the quality of the final disinfection in animal tuberculosis, the authors propose using the PCR method to detect M. bovis DNA.
