Abstract

The article discusses treatment regimens for goats suffering from clinical mastitis. When treated with enrofloxacin, oxytetracycline, and sextafag complex, the efficacy was 93,3; 73,3 and 71,4%, respectively, the duration of recovery 5,5 ± 0,4, 7,5 ± 0,3 and 7,3 ± 0,3 days, respectively. With monotherapy (oxytetracycline), the efficiency was 57,1% for 8,5 ± 0,2 days. The method of phage therapy for mastitis in small cattle is defined as a promising alternative to antibacterial agents.
