Abstract

Chicken manure is promising for processing in biogas plants, but due to its specificity it can cause significant technological difficulties. Biogas plants in Russia are designed using European data, which may be incorrect. The study found that in many indicators of biogas productivity, the litter of laying hens from Germany exceeds by more than 30% the similar Russian substrate.
