Abstract

The purpose of the presented studies was to identify the Newcastle disease virus, to conduct serological studies. To detect specific antibodies to the Newcastle disease virus, rtga and ELISA are used. A single positive result of these tests allows us to judge only the presence of specific antibodies in the bird that could appear both as a result of the disease and after vaccination. If the study is carried out in a period remote after vaccination, then an increase in the titer of antibodies in the blood serum taken from the same bird after 14 days indicates circulation in the flock of BN virus. The virus infectivity titer was determined on chicken embryos.
