Abstract

The article discusses the current state of cell farming in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). A comparative characterization of the color of the fur coat of sables in Yakutia is given according to the literature data describing the initial period after the re-acclimatization of the species and on the sorting materials of 296245 pelts at the fur-fur base of SUE Sakhabult FUPK for the period 1994-2005. Widespread lightening of populations of the species is noted.
