Abstract

Despite the numerous information about studies in the field of endoscopy of dogs and cats, the literature does not cover the specifics of using these surgical procedures in rabbits. At the same time, in veterinary surgery, up to 30% of operations on abdominal organs in small pets are performed using endoscopic equipment. Studies were performed on 12 clinically healthy rabbits. Features of the topography of the abdominal organs and the boundaries of the areas of the abdominal wall dictate the need to study the features of laparoscopic surgery in this animal species. The presented topographic and endoscopic anatomy of the abdominal organs in rabbits has distinctive features in comparison with dogs and cats. The article presents schemes and methods for performing laparoscopic operations in rabbit-like.
