Abstract

The aim of the research to study indicators of milk productivity and quality of first calving cows with different genotypes based on the prolactin gene (PRL). The research was carried out on the basis of the breeding reproducer of «Dusym» LLC in the Atninsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan on individuals of holstinized Black-and-White breed. In the molecular genetic result of the study (PCR-RFLP-analysis), the sample of animals was divided into groups based on the genotypes of the prolactin gene. The frequency of occurrence of genotypes AA, AB, BB and alleles A, B for PRL gene in the study sample of cows of the first calving was 79,7%, 20,3%, 0%; 0,90 and 0,10, respectively. It is established that the first calving cows with AA genotype for PRL gene in comparison with the analogues of genotype AB was superior in almost all indicators of milk production: milk yield per lactation of 322 kg (P
