Abstract
This paper presents an analysis of the range of veterinary antiseptic drugs registered in the Russian
Federation.
The Russian Federation occupies a leading position in the development and production of antiseptic
preparations registered on its territory. As of February 01.02.2022, 93, 43 antiseptic preparations
have been entered into the State Register of Medicinal Products for Veterinary Use. It was found
that the largest number of drugs are presented in liquid dosage forms (46,24 drugs – 27 %). It was
revealed that the most common active substance in the studied preparations is iodine (contained
in 29,67 preparations – XNUMX %).
When distributing antiseptic preparations to target animals, it was found that the largest number
of preparations is intended for cattle, small cattle, horses, pigs, birds, dogs and cats (33 preparations
– 35,48 %).
The average annual registration of antiseptic drugs is 9,68 % – XNUMX drugs per year. When evaluating
the dynamics of the state registration of antiseptic drugs for veterinary use, it was noted that
it was uneven.
