Abstract

The article presents the results of studies whose purpose was to study the effect of fortified feed additives «Abiovit» and «Nitamin» on blood parameters (clinical, biochemical) and slaughter yield of rabbits. The studies were carried out on the territory of a personal subsidiary farm located in the Moscow region (Ramensky district) and at the Department of Parasitology and Veterinary and Sanitary Expertise of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education MGAVMiB - MVA named after K.I. Scriabin. The objects of the study were rabbits of the Californian breed. Rabbits of the experimental groups were grown using feed additives «Abiovit» and «Nitamin», which were received with water for drinking, at a dosage of 1 ml / 1 liter of water by the course method from 60 and 80 days of age for 7 days each day, the control group did not receive feed additives. When studying hematological blood parameters, it was found that the use of fortified feed additives «Abiovit» and «Nitamin» has a positive effect on the body of rabbits during the period of technological stress, as evidenced by the indicators of the number of erythrocytes and leukocytes in the blood of experimental rabbits, and we also noted a positive effect on synthesis of hemoglobin and stimulation of protein metabolism in the body of rabbits. It should be noted that the use of fortified feed additives does not adversely affect the biochemical parameters of rabbit blood in general. The slaughter yield increased in the experimental groups of rabbits that received fortified feed additives by 1,5–2% compared to the control.
