Abstract

The article presents the results of a study of the market for feed additives based on protein hydrolysates registered in the Russian Federation. It has been established that in the State Register of feed additives, feed additives based on protein hydrolysates account for only 1,49 %. Among them, most of them are domestically produced (38,9 %). 33,3 % of feed additives based on protein hydrolysates of chemical and / or microbiological synthesis, containing components of plant origin, 27,8 % – animal origin without milk proteins. At the same time, collagen is the main source of protein in 22,2 % of feed additives. 10 feed additives each contain hydrolysates of lecithin, including soy (18,5 %), and whey (18,5 %). Basically, the investigated feed additives are produced in the form of a powder (57,4 %), less often – in the form of a solution, granules, etc. The largest number of feed additives based on protein hydrolysates was registered in 2013 (16,7 %). In recent years (2020–2022), there has been a negative trend in the registration of the studied feed additives, thus, in 2022, only 5,6 feed additives were entered into the State Register of feed additives, which is XNUMX %.
