Abstract

The species diversity of cocci microflora representatives (staphylococci, streptococci and enterococci were investigated) from poultry (hens, geese and ducks) in different Russian enterprises was determined. The laborarory-diagnostic investigations were done in the laboratory of diagnostics and control of antibiotic resistance of mostly clinical important agents of infectious animal diseases of Federal Scientific Center – All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Experimental Veterinary Medicine named after K. I. Skryabin and Ya. R. Kovalenko of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The species indentification of microorganisms was done by the MALDI-TOF MS method. The etiological structure was various and was represented by 26 staphylococci, 15 streptococci and 8 enterococci species. The dominant representatives of cocci microflora from hens on the territory of Russian Federation were the S. aureus (17,2 % among the family strains), S. pluranimalium (31,1 %), E. faecalis (32,9 %) strains, and S. gallinarum (33 %), S. gallolyticus (40 %), E. hirae and E. faecium (56 %) were the dominant species isolated from ducks and geese. The cocci microflora representatives had a significant territorial prevalence (XNUMX territories, XNUMX regions and XNUMX republics of Russian Federation).
