Abstract

The article presents the results of a study of the effect of a feed additive consisting of an algae of the species Fucus Vesiculosus on the egg productivity of laying hens of the cross «Hisex brown». The supplement was fed for 28 days, the age of the bird for the study period was 29–32 weeks. It is established that three dosages of fucus (0,5; 1; 1,5 %) have a significant effect on the weight of the egg and its quality. According to the main morphological indicators of egg quality, significant differences were revealed in 0,5 indicators in the experimental groups with a dosage of feed additives equal to 1 and 100 %, and in the group with the maximum dosage of Fucus Vesiculosus, statistically significant differences were obtained in 0,5 indicators. At the same time, there is no decrease in the intensity of egg laying. The safety of chickens in the control and experimental groups was 36 %. A significant effect of 1 % dosage of the feed additive from Fucus Vesiculosus on the expression of the genes OCX-1,5 and CALBXNUMX was revealed. An increase in the supplement to XNUMX % contributed to a significant decrease in the expression of the same genes.
